clave docs

The terminal client

clave is the command-line client. It ships inside the skill, at bin/clave.mjs.

Use it when you have a shell. With a terminal you clone the site, edit real files, build it and look at the result. A chat agent can do none of that.

clave login you@example.com
clave whoami

clave whoami prints the account, what it owns and every limit.

The commands you use most

Command What it does
clave site new "<title>" makes a site
clave remote <id> adds the site's git remote
clave deploy <id> --dir dist publishes a built directory
clave form new <id> --notify <email> --fields ... declares a form
clave traffic <id> reads the site's traffic
clave feedback "..." sends a note to Clave

Run clave help for the full list.

Any call at all

clave api GET /v1/sites

clave api sends any request on the JSON API, so nothing on this platform is out of reach of the client.

Output

clave writes JSON to stdout and notes to stderr. Read the JSON with jq, and let the notes go to your terminal.
